Change a Photos Background - photoshop learning Online

Easy way to create or change a background image,
you can change the background images easily using photoshop software. Image will become more interesting with a new backgroun that you created yourself or you take a picture of another

See I knew you would like it...

Anyway, for this tutorial the main thing you will be using is the Magic Wand Tool.

So select that when youve got your image opened up. At the top you should see a setting which is the tolerance. This sets how much of the image to grab depending on how similar nearby colours are. For this photo I am using 30 however you may neet to change depending on the lighting in your image.

Now simply click on the background of your image and press delete on your keyboard.

Just keep repeating that until all of your background has gone to white. You may need to alter your Tolerance setting for some parts if the colours arent that different.

Heres my image with no background:

Now we need to add in our new background.

Simply find an image. Im using a photo of a sunset with some trees in the background. Now copy and paste your background image into the Photoshop document. Now just make sure that the background layer is behind (below) the layer with your object/person on it.

And thats it.

Heres my final result:

As you can see this can be used to create some very nice wallpapers.
