QUICK CHANGE TO GRAYSCALE- Photoshop

greenStart by opening a image in Photoshp.

1Click and drag the Background layer over the New Layer button to duplicate it as a safety step.

greenPress D to reset the foreground and background colors to the default black and white.

2Click the New Adjustment Layer button.

3Click Gradient Map.

4Select the Gradient Map Layer.

5Click Color as the Blending mode.

greenThe Layer blend mode changes to Color, and the values in the image change to show more gradations in the grays.

Optionally, you can press (Ctrl)+E to merge the Gradient Map layer with the Background copy layer.

6Click Layer.

7Click Merge Down.

8Click the Eraser tool.

9Click here to select a brush size.

10Click here and select a brush size.

11Double-click here and type 40.

12Erase over parts of the colored area to increase the color.

greenThe viewer’s attention is drawn to the perfect spot.
