1. Open the image you want to edit. Then select the menu Image> Mode> Lab color.

There are three channels, namely Lightness, a, and b. Click Lightness channel.
Then select the menu Image> Mode> grayscale. Click OK if a confirmation dialog box appears. Then select the Layer palette. Duplicate background layer, with Ctrl + J. If the image is too dark, change the Blending mode to become the Screen layer. If too dark, change into Multiply. If the setting is too over, reduce the opacity
Now change into RGB, by choosing the menu Image> Mode> RGB.
