The following tutorial consists of adding natural water drops on a picture.
Start off by adding the picture on which you want the drops on. And create another empty layer over that.
Fill “Layer 2” with white by going to Edit>Fill or Shift+F5 then hit OK.
Now go to Filter>Noise>Add Noise and choose the settings below.
Now go to Filter>Blur>Gaussian Blur, and choose the following settings.
Now, go to Image>Adjustments>Threshold and make sure your pin is centered so that you get pretty much the equal amount of Black and Whites.
Repeat the Gaussian Blur Filter, but increase the Radius from 5 to 6 pixels.
Once again, repeat the Threshold filter, and try to get more blacks than white, try to give it some water look.
Hit the Gaussian Blur effect, but now, try to keep the radius below 2.
Next, go to Image>Adjustments>Levels or Ctrl+L, move the center cursor all the way to the right.
Now you’re going to preserve the blacks and get rid of the whites. The easiest way to do that is by going to Select>Color Range. Now click on Highlights which should select all the whites, and now hit OK, and delete the selected whites.
Now on the layer with the black water drops, simply double click on the layer and it will open the blending options. All you have to do is click on Bevel and Emboss, and copy the following settings. After that, hit OK, and click on the water drops layer and pull the Fill cursor to 0.
Voila! All you have to do now, is erase all of the unnecessary water drops, I simply got rid of the water that wasn’t on the Flower.
