Final Resul Photo Effect

So I finally finished my exam final peice, the original design/concept work was for a potrait format image but this worked better for context... so 13 hours and too many chocolate sweets/cake later this twisted breed of photography, severed bodies and photoshop is born. Based on the pursiut of the 'magazine body' in todays materialistic culture with the 'paperface' concept and subtle interludes of fakeism (?) with the dresser doll concept and the frustration/anxiety caused when the unachievable levels perfection set by the media are not reached with the 'mistake' base image.

..or just a 'weird' severed body of a girl messing up her makeup with magazines tatooed to her face :-)

tbh Im 95% happy with it, partly because of the fact that its one of the most complicated manipulations Ive done but mostly because this time I thought it up all by myself and went right from concept sketches to photography through to manipulation without pulling source things from the interwebs, the only thing that I didnt make was the source magazine layouts (obviously) which I sliced up and arranged instead of just sicking one on and forming it.
Favourite parts would have to be the 'wears my shoes!' text accross the top of the mouth and the isolation of the hands.
Hidden/not-so-hidden mistakes would be the shadow which is hand painted (will prob redo before print) and the isolation of the hair is a mess but give me a break, it was frizzy curls! And also the hard edges of the base of the left arm.

So yea, tell me what you think!
Weird? Obviously photoshopped? To far on the 'conceptual' front?

Oh and if Strobism counts the lighting was 1 vivitar 285HV shot through a westcott satin umbrella high at about 60 degrees camera left - just look at the fall off, you get the idea. Lighting was tricky because this is clearly composite but I think it matches up.
